Long Term Servicing Channel for ScriptX.Services

A Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) is designed for use cases where the key requirement is that functionality and features don’t change over time.

Lets keep this short - there isnt one (yet).

ScriptX.Services for Windows PC has to date been a "version 2" release.

While some new features have been added they have been either for the completion of the roadmap or features required to resolve issues (for example Orchestrator).

In other words, the current version is continually serviced with minor (compatible) updates and bug fixes.

The current LTSC release is 2.x.x and will continue to be serviced as required.

 

The situation will change if and when there is a major upgrade. At that time, the previous major version will enter an LTS cycle.
